We Are The Champions

I dont know where to begin when I talk about winning sectionals. Its that indescribable feeling everyone should experience at least once in their life. Tears of joy, jumping, screaming, hugging is all I can really remember. When people asked me how the game went I honestly was so mind boggled I didnt even know what to say. The only words that were capable of coming out of my mouth were WE WON!

My team worked hard and we got the job done. Like I said early go hard or go home and thats exactly what we did. It was such an excited and emotional experience. I love my team, every last one of them. I cant wait for regionals on Saturday! Lets go Lady Spartans!

Sectional Championship

Its the day of Sectional Championship... im extremely nervous. Ive thrown up 3 times and have managed to finally keep down a little bit of food. Its a huge game and most people dont think these games are important because oh its just a high school basketball game. Well to me its more, and I dont just want to play hard for myself I owe it to all my teammates who have worked hard and had a positive attitude with me day in and day out for the last few years.

Not only are they my teammates, they are sisters to me. I dont know what my life would be like without them. I love each of them like a sister and I am so blessed to have gotten to share the same experiences with them this season. Its going to be a tough game tonight but I think if we believe in ourselves and trust in each other we can pull through and get the win. I am ready. Its time to play hard. Like they say Go Hard of Go Home.. well Im NOT going home tonight ... without a Sectional Championship title.

Game Day!

Its semi finals and we have to be very prepared to play tonight! I am so excited! My team and I have been preparing for this for a long time, its crazy that its already sectional time and season is coming to a close. I am kind of sad because I am really going to miss the seniors and all my teammates. Wish us luck tonight, its do or die! One and done! So if we lose this game its over :( therefore we have to be in it to win it. I hope my teammates are as ready to play as I am! GO SPARTANS GO ! YAYAYAYAY :)

Suicide

The blog post that I listened to today was very touching. It was hard to understand exactly where he is coming from because I am not gay in any way shape or form nor do I agree with the idea of homosexuality but his story was still touching. I felt bad for him because he was picked on a lot and physical abused by his peers just because he was gay.

I think it shows a good message about the judging that goes on in peoples younger stages of life. Personally I think its horrible that people judge so much these days. It shows insecurity and someone just seeking attention. Im glad the guy in this blog decided not take his own life because there is not a reason on this earth for anyone to take their own life. Its a selfless act that people resort to when they get tired of fighting this battle we call life. Giving up should never be an option, unless your weak of course. If you take your own life and give up on God like that he will give up on you. I personally cant see those people going to heaven.

Basically his message though was how he overcame that kind of stuff that is why I think its a good blog and I really liked it. Glad I got the chance to listen to some of his story.

GAME TIME!

Its game day and we play Northrop. Senior night. I just want to say I love all my seniors, its been a wonderful year with all of you. well now it is time to get ready to play. Game time in a few hours and we have to go set up the gym. I am so excited! Cant wait for sectionals to start! Go SPARTANS!!!!

National Anthem

So Christina Aguilara messed up the National Anthem for the superbowl, but I don't think its that big of deal. She has an amazing voice and she probably just got a little nervous. I feel really bad for her because everyone is making it into a bigger deal then what it really is. How many people have messed up the National Anthem, and how perfect is our country? Exactly, so people can be cool with that and get off her case about it. She can still kick butt in singing. GO CHRISTINA! oh and also, the best national anthem by far was the 1991 Whitney Houston version. She sang it so beautifully! I love her voice! #justsaying.
